Eastern Ontario Soccer welcomes Boris Bajagic to the team as our new Technical Advisory Group (TAG) Coordinator, responsible for organizing the activities of the Club Technical Directors to make recommendations related to player and coach development within EOS.
Boris has over fifty years of experience in soccer, serving in a wide range of roles including player, coach, master learning facilitator, scout, evaluator, consultant, Club Head Coach, international soccer statistician, and historian. He has been actively involved in all levels of soccer development across different regions of the world.
Boris dedicated thirty years to youth development programs in the former Yugoslavia, Malaysia, Southeast Asia, and Canada, with a strong emphasis on both junior and senior player development. He has extensive experience in soccer management at both professional and amateur levels, contributing successfully to professional and community soccer clubs alike.
Specializing in development and scouting across all junior age groups (U8–U18), Boris is also Ontario Soccer Master Learning Facilitator and served as an OPDL scout for five years. He has coached various competitive teams in Canada, ranging from semi-professional teams like FC Wizard (Ottawa) to multiple Hotspurs OYSL and competitive youth teams.
As a member of the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS), Boris has published articles on the history of soccer.
In recognition of his significant contributions to the soccer in Ontario, he was honored with the Centre Circle Award as Coach Developer of the Year 2022.
