Eastern Ontario Soccer is proud to recognize FC Saint Stefan, a longstanding Member Club, as they celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2025.
Founded in 1975, FC Saint Stefan quickly rose through the ranks, reaching the OCSL Premier level within just five years—a remarkable achievement reflecting their commitment to excellence on and off the field.
Their recent anniversary celebration brought together a host of distinguished guests and supporters. Notable among them was a video tribute from Stevan “Dika” Stojanović, legendary Serbian goalkeeper and current Director of the Serbian National Team, speaking on behalf of the Football Association of Serbia.

It was a celebration not only of sport but of community, connection, and legacy.
"Fifty years is not just a number—it is a testament to perseverance, passion, and love for the game," said Club President Zoran Jovović, reflecting on the club’s journey and future.
Founders Deni Trčković, Branko Miljević, and Gligorije Milanović were also honoured for their vision and impact. Their reflections reminded all in attendance that FC Saint Stefan has always been more than a football club—it is a cultural cornerstone, a gathering place, and a symbol of community spirit in Canada’s capital.
On behalf of Eastern Ontario Soccer, we extend our warmest congratulations to everyone—past and present—who has been part of FC Saint Stefan’s incredible journey. Here's to the next 50 years of football, friendship, and legacy!
